Kristoffer Andrew Ross is a folksinger and guitarist from rural Upstate New York. Specializing in traditional ballads from the Northeastern United States, and their connections to origins in the British Isles. With careful vocal and fingerstyle guitar arrangements, he seeks to entwine skillful musicianship with an awareness of historic songs’ relationship to stories of immigration, labor, and class struggles of the past and present.
In addition to solo work, Kristoffer lead and arranged for the Men o’ War Balladeers, a Celtic and Maritime Ballad band. He has produced two albums for the group, including their 2019 release, “Low Lie the Fields.” He is also a farmer in Cambridge, NY.
